本館將眷村主題館翻轉成為老屋書房新書展-敝墟書店，「敝」與「君子」相同，為謙稱的用語；「墟」泛指聚落，在此引申為推廣閱讀的知識集散地。此空間有主題書展、泡書區、選物推薦、藝術家創作展等數個藝文角落，以藝文書香結合場域，營造園區知性氛圍。

Renovated from an old house, Needed Bookstore in its Chinese pronunciation has a connotation of a gathering place for modest and virtuous people. Serving as a venue for reading and learning, the space integrates a themed exhibition, reading zone, favorite selections, and art corners for presenting creations of the artists. Its artistic ambience also enhances the cultural atmosphere in the park.

水交社一帶古稱「桶盤淺」，位於府城南門外（清臺灣府城的南城門），係明清時期漢人墓葬之地。

日治時期建為海軍軍事基地，二戰結束後國軍接收成為空軍眷村。

水交社歷史館展示出土文物，並巧思運用地層的堆疊關係，打造展示牆面與剖面模型，輔以年表和地圖，把時間打造成立體的藝術。

The ancient name of Shueijiaoshe is “bucket basin”. Located outside the South Gate of the Capital (the ancient capital of Taiwan during the Qing Dynasty), the area was commonly known a cemetery for Han people from the Ming to the Qing Dynasties. During the era of Japanese rule, the Japanese Navy Air Squadron was based on the site. Following the end of WWII, it was transformed into the military housing community for the R.o.C. Air Force.

In the History Museum, unearthed items are exhibited on the display walls and the section models based on their location in the strata. A timeline and a map are also provided to construct a 3D art installation of the time line.

身處與空軍有著深厚淵源的地域，園區AIR臺南館即是以紀錄「臺南空域」為主軸的主題展館，此次展覽從日常生活的距離去了解中華民國空軍駐守臺南的歷史脈絡、緊張的秘密任務與分秒持續的領空捍衛。展間透過創意的互動展示，讓參展者自然地體會到國軍的守護就在咫尺之間。

Situated in the area with strong relevance to Air Force, AIR Tainan Hall centers the theme, “air defense zone of Tainan”. The exhibition leads the viewers to learn the historical context of ROC Air Force stationed in Tainan, their tense secret missions, and how they safeguarded airspace with relentless efforts in a more accessible way. The interactive exhibits allow the visitors to experience the devoted protection from Air Force.

「文青時代」移到了台南水交社

「水交社」是日本1941年修建的海軍輕航隊宿舍兼俱樂部。
「水交」是「君子之交淡若水」的典故。典故來自「莊子外篇-山木」。除了「水」與「海」沾一點邊，還是很難理解為什麼軍方機構會選用這樣典雅的名稱。
「水交社」經過臺南文化局悉心規畫整修，保留了日式建築，以及二戰後空軍眷村的房舍，成為文化園區，開放給大眾。
和通藝術文化基金會贊助了「蔣勳書房」，提供一個大家可以看畫、閱讀、聆聽聲音的美好場域。
八十年前的建築，不依賴空調，不炫耀照明，讓人們進入一個可以和自然對話的空間。
這樣的空間讓我想靜靜坐下來，感覺到自然的通風，感覺到四季晨昏光影變化，感覺到戶外鳥啼花放，風裡一陣一陣南洋含笑吐露的芬芳。
戰爭過去了，戰爭留下的空間，改變轉型成為「書房」。
有一間「書房」是多麼幸福的事，讓美好和平的歲月天長地久。

The presence of military community is a collective memory across generations. Air Force personnel and their families travelled from Mainland China and settled down in Taiwan. They reminisced about their hometowns through unforgettable tastes. Community Canteen provides modern healthy meals with a fusion of nostalgic flavors to not only revitalize the past but also create new memories that will last longer.

眷村文學可說是歷史洪流下的產物。因戰爭遷臺的居民及其後代，開展臺灣文學史上特有的面貌。作家們以眷村的生活做為書寫的內容，融入本身情感與細膩觀察，呈現不同作家筆下各自繽紛開落的眷村時光。館內亦設有輕食餐飲休憩空間。

The history of military community also generates characteristic Taiwanese literature, which depicts profiles of immigrants, who had settled down in Taiwan to escape wars, and their descendants. Life in the military communities is elaborated based on writers’ personal feelings and detailed observation. The days in the communities have been presented in various ways by different writers. Light meals and beverages are also served in the dining area.

《邊城百衲藝術中心》一共涵蓋「邊城藝術工作室」、「百衲美術館」及「邊城咖啡坊」三個空間，將以陶藝創作為主與在地藝術家進駐，開放藝術創作展覽提供民眾免費參觀，以及融入咖啡輕食，打造別具特色的藝文交流平台，共創多元創作空間。

BCBNartcenter comprises three spaces, including “Bian Cheng Art Studio”, “Bai Na Museum”, and “Bian Cheng Coffee”. Featuring pottery works, the Art Center allows local artists to take residencies. Exhibitions here are open to the public for free. Coffee and light meals are also served in this distinctive art platform.
